On July 13th, the ECA/Clarion/ICE Symposium will be held in Barcelona, Spain, by Clarion Gaming and the European Casino Association. The symposium will centre on strategies for the European casino business to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Gathering operators' knowledge, wants, and insights, the event will be held in London's Mayfair's Les Ambassadeurs Casino.
"We initially discussed the need to align industry thinking for ICE 2023 with the ECA leadership team at April's event. Then, in May, we hosted a breakfast meeting for board members at the ECA's Dealer Championship, where we fleshed out the format," stated Stuart Hunter, managing director of Clarion Gaming. "The morning session will be used to create the agenda for the day, bringing operators and land-based suppliers together in a relaxed format," the announcement read.
Hunter further by saying that the symposium will follow the "open space" concept, wherein attendees self-select the topics to cover.
He explained that they would be using an approach called "the open space model," which is "driven by participants and encourages open, honest and dynamic discussion around the current needs, pain-points and shared opportunities that the industry faces." "Separate groups will begin their own discussions and agenda building following an initial panel session."
Furthermore, he mentioned that the outcomes of the symposium will have a significant impact on the direction of ICE London going forward.
Every bit of conversation and insight that comes out of it teaches and motivates the people who attend. He said that the results will guide the direction of ICE London's vision in areas like as strategy, content, product mix, customer experience, and ideas for onsite networking and meetings. "Our preparations for the return of the major land-based supplier brands to the ICE London show floor include attending the symposium, which will help us maximise ROI on behalf of all of our customers."
Chairman of the European Casino Association Per Jaldung stated that the gathering will assist in aligning Clarion Gaming's goals with those of the industry for ICE London 2023.
Everyone involved with land-based gaming should seize the opportunity that is ICE London 2023, he stated. I'm ecstatic that the ECA is coordinating with Clarion Gaming to be ready for February and make sure everyone is thinking alike.
"There is no better example of how we can all pull together than the symposium to accomplish our common aims and objectives."
