Comtrade Gaming, a provider of gaming software, has announced a new platform deal with Stanleybet Romania, an operator of online sports betting and gaming.

 The deal calls for Comtrade to provide the Bucharest-based company with its iCore igaming platform.

 For example, "real-time bonusing, dynamic segmentation, real-time push messaging, and many more player engagement tools" are just a few of the capabilities that Comtrade's CCO Steven Valentine listed as being part of the iCore platform.

 With a 40% withdrawal tax being considered for inclusion in the Romanian fiscal code, the country's gambling business is presently experiencing persistent regulatory uncertainty.

 Although the latest version of the tax has toned down the details, the Association of Remote Gambling Organisations, a trade group for the industry, has voiced its disapproval of the proposed language.
